Job Description
Responsible for coordinating with Custom House agent (CHA) regarding customs clearance of import consignments.
Coordinate with overseas vendor
Organize the shipment (Air & Sea) & Coordinate regarding the same
Arranging Transit Insurance for import consignments and its claims
Preparing set of documents for Custom Clearance.
Negotiate with the vendor for cost and terms of delivery. Keep a track on all changes being made, and work on cost effective measures.
Negotiate with Forwarding agents for cost effectiveness.
Ensure evaluation / verification of Bills & coordinate with accounts department for the payments.
Solve the Query regarding Clearance Procedure
To Check and Approve the Customs Checklist for import Clearance
Maintain strong Follow up with the vendor for pending purchase order
Communicate all delivery schedules and status of orders with the Production team.
