Job Description
Do audit of jobs before taking it to customs.
Customs Clearanes at Nhava Sheva & Mumbai Port.
Ensure liaising with the coordinating team such that funds are always available in the PD Accounts.
Arrange the clearances with other government authorities as and when required.
Arrange clearances at Mumbai Port under break bulk.
Risk assessment needs to be done for all shipment if damaged. Conduct survey wherever required.
Follow up for Survey report and share it with customers.
Arrange equipments to handle the cargo for loading on the vehicle.
Arrange safe repacking of the cargo if opened for examination and other wise if damaged.
Liaise with the transporters to ensure placement of vehicle on time.
Work closely with CFS/BPT to handle our shipments on priority.
Ensure the handover of complete job with receipts for billing.
Collect the DO from shipping line and share the receipts (without error).
Ensure the rates applied by authorities are correct as per the tariff.
Ensure highlighting the additional costs of expenses to billing & coordinator teams.
