Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Process applications for advance licenses and registrations with customs
• Follow up on the process of imports and maintain MIS reports for further reporting to management
• Follow up with agents and suppliers of raw materials to maintain dispatch of RM and routine stock
• Manage pre-shipment and post-shipment documentation for exports
• Handle documentation and operational procedures such as commercial invoices, packing lists, bill of ladings, shipping bills, GSP certificates, Phytho certificates, Fumigation certificate, COO, Insurance copies, BRC's and LC's
• Apply for and register government incentive schemes such as MEIS, SEIS, FPS, Duty Drawback, and other time-to-time incentives
• Follow up with CHAs, transporters, and freight forwarders regarding activities of exports up to door delivery of goods
• Maintain reports on a day-to-day basis and report to management
• Understand and follow UT-1 procedures of GST, self-sealing procedures of export shipments, factory stuffing procedures, RFID seals, and all other permissions related to exports and imports.
Requirements:
• 1-3 years of experience in export/import documentation is required
• Freshers can also apply
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Knowledge of government incentive schemes and import/export regulations • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing situations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
