Role & Responsibilities

1. 
   Correspondence / follow up with CHA(s), Transporters & Shipping Lines for quotation / estimates.


2. 
   Negotiations, Designing comparison analysis of Quotations / estimates for Imports & Exports / Local Transportation.


3. 
   Preparation of Documents / information under various checklists / expedite clearance of Import / Export & Domestic consignments


4. 
   Handle / monitor registration processes / obtaining various Export License from Govt., Authorities.


5. 
   Should know:

1. 
   Incoterms (such as EXW, FOB, CIF, DAP, DDP),


2. 
   EXIM terms like EPCG Advance License etc., IDPMS / EDPMS, Rodtep, SIMS, MEIS, EBRC


3. 
   Types of vessels / containers,


4. 
   Factory Stuffing Sealing, Way-bills, commercial Invoices,


5. 
   CFS, THC calculations. Duty Drawback, Landed Cost

6. 
   Logistic Records / database management for all Import / Export, stage wise status like photo Loading, Transit, Unloading, In Sea, In Air.


7. 
   Shall lead cost savings projects up-to its validation with actuals.


8. 
   Preparation of MIS reports and analyzing the actual costs.


9. 
   Inventory Valuation under logistics for audit & Inventory purpose


10. 
    Preference - Similar industry plus logistics profile

Skills / Competencies Required

1.             Good communication skills

2.             Microsoft Office (Word, Advance Excel)
