Job Description
Timely Follow-up for shipping Documents from import export vendors.
Well versed with EXIM clearance procedures, IMDG & INCO terms
Timely sharing the shipping documents to CHA, DPD or for pre-customs Procedure.
Follow-up for Cargo Arrival notice from Forwarder and ask for IGM detail & CAN copy.
Follow-up for Checklist from the CHA as per Advance, EPCG License.
Confirmation to CHA to proceed for Bill of Entry w.r.t shipping Documents.
Resolve Grievances if any to clear the goods at port or in Customs.
Coordination with Finance department for timely Duty Payment, vendor Payment, CHA charges, Forwarder charges and Transporting agency fees along with CE certificate charges and CA certificate charges
Follow-up with transporter for the vehicle status/arrangement and share the information to store for unloading.
Maintain, Check, and send the Documents or invoices of CHA, Transporters & forwarding Agencies bills with quotation to account department and other expenses related to Import.
Share the Air shipment cost to concern authority.
