Job Description:

Akshan Global is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee - Export Import to join our team. This role provides hands-on experience in international trade operations and is ideal for candidates passionate about global markets, sustainable materials, and career growth in import-export.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Documentation Support: Assist in preparing, reviewing, and filing export-import documents, including invoices, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.


• 
  Shipment Coordination: Track and coordinate shipments, working with freight forwarders and customs brokers to ensure timely delivery.


• 
  Compliance Monitoring: Learn and assist with compliance requirements, ensuring all documentation aligns with international trade regulations.


• 
  Supplier & Client Communication: Collaborate with suppliers, clients, and internal teams to ensure smooth operation and resolve any logistical issues.


• 
  Data Entry & Reporting: Maintain accurate records in our database and prepare basic reports on shipment status and inventory levels.


• 
  Learning & Development: Participate in training sessions to understand trade regulations, sustainability practices, and Akshan Global's unique processes.

Qualifications:

• 
  Bachelor’s degree (or working toward one) in International Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.


• 
  Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.


• 
  Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.


• 
  Interest in global trade and sustainable practices.
